Coming from a small liberal arts college, I had no idea what to expect going in and I can’t believe how much I learned in such a short time. I’m been reading some of the “recommended books” while traveling around Europe and there’s something on every single page that I wouldn’t have understood had I not attended Swiss Finance. It is this insider knowledge that I know will help me gain the internships I need to realize my career aspirations.

Today I learned to read the “Wall Street Journal!” Okay, so it wasn’t part of our scheduled lessons but a group of us decided we would test our knowledge by reading an issue while highlighting words and phrases we didn’t understand, then discussing the articles and working on each person’s questions in turn. It was a great exercise. We all had questions, those who had studied finance before and those who hadn’t and it turned out we were able to help each other. We plan to make this a daily activity in addition to our lesson plans.
Not only does the Swiss Finance offer a valuable source of instruction, its location in Switzerland allows for an invaluable opportunity to learn international finance.
